lonely librarian

Im assuming you have noticed the new background??

Well,  I am yet again unsatisfied with the "look" of my blog....
So until I find something suitable,  it will probably  keep changing......
at least y'all wont get bored, in fact,  that could be the entire THEME of my blog....."what will Choleesas World look like today??"

Sometimes I get in these moods.....where I read, nonstop for days.....I will read a book from cover to cover in one sitting -  if its a good one.
Im really the only one in the hovel that reads.
Both of my chitlens read,  (on occasion)
but they dont love it like  I do.....
I love to just sit or lay on the couch with a good book
I really do love to read....

The hubby -  he dont read.
Period.
In fact,  Ive never even seen him hold a book, so I have often asked myself  if he CAN read??

What does he do while I read?

He WATCHES me read...........
He takes secret pictures of me while I read..........

I did not KNOW he did this until I found this ^

creepy stalker.

  1. I am the same way about reading. Sometimes I am voracious and other times nothing I pick up lights my fire.

Remember book stores? I used to walk around them for hours with a stack I couldn't afford then sit on the floor and try to narrow down the list for purchase. But other days I wouldn't find one book that lept into my hands.

My hubs just likes to talk to me while I read, as if I'm not busy escaping from my life.

  2. Reading is a wonderful way to lose oneself and free your mind and expand your knowledge. Good for you.

  4. Thank you for coming by and following... I have returned the favor. I love books. A friend bought me one of the tablet readers as a gift, but there is nothing like a good, old-fashioned book.

As for the subject matter of your husband's photographs, I can't say that I blame him!

  13. I fine myself reading at times madly - then at other times it tails off - not sure if it is what I'm reading or not. Reading is one of the best forms of safe escapism I know - stretches your mind as you are painting the scenes and the people etc. How often you read a book then see the film and the film is nowhere as good as the book as you had it so much better in your head.

Oh yes - along with the rest of the male readership ... nice rack!

  14. I'm glad hubby is assisting with your blog illustrations. My ADD prevents me from reading anything long. I consider long anything more that the length of this post. That's why I check your blog every day.

P.S. The pics your hubby takes don't hurt either.

  15. I read mostly nonfiction. But that new Steven King book about the Kennedy assassination looks interesting.
